Born in 1976, Bengal has always read comics. First, as a child, with comic books from his father’s library, then, as a teenager, with mangas. He is 10 years old, when he develops the passion for drawing and decides he wants to make books too! Great fan of European and Japanese comics, of movies and series, and video games, he starts his career in 1988 while preparing his first album ‘the Only One’ with Jean-David Morvan at Glénat, which will be published much later. Meanwhile he works for the video game industry as a concept designer at Darkworks with Nicolas ‘Sparth’ Bouvier and Benjamin Carré until 2004; he then begins in parallel the dyptic ‘Meka’ still with JD Morvan, at Delcourt.

From then, he also takes part in short stories (Spirou magazine, Flight comics, Skydoll factory, Chroniques de Sillage, Mon Chat à moi...) while producing the ‘Naja’ series at Dargaud between 2006 and 2010. At present, Bengal works on his two new series: ‘Luminae’ at Ankama, solo, already published, and ‘Bien du Mal’ with his accomplice JD Morvan, to be published by Ankama too. Bengal and JD also sign a short story in the new collective magazine of Wani in Japan.

Remi was born in 1987 near Lyon. He very quickly went into art studies and discovered an attraction for film and animation in particular.

His studies led him to Roubaix and then to the Ecole des Gobelins, in Paris, after which he left for Disney Studios in Los Angeles before returning to work on various feature films in Paris.

He also works for advertising or the video game industry in studios such as Ubisoft or Quantic Dreams. Although mainly trained in animation, it’s as an art director and concept artist that he evolves in these different studios.

Brun Croes (1987) recently graduated with Highest Honors from his master degree in Illustration and graphic design at The Royal Academy Of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium. Both during and after graduating, Brun has been active as an illustrator and concept artist working for both the print and entertainment industries.

His work has also been featured in several galleries around the world, such as RotopolPress and more recently Gallery Nucleus. During his free time, Brun works on personal projects with his talented friends, including an indie game called Thief Of Hearts and an Illustrated Novel titled The Journal Of Samuel Blackburn.

Derk Venneman is a freelance conceptartist and Illustrator from the Netherlands. He has experience as a conceptartist for over 5 years working on movies, games and bookcovers.

His clients include: Guerrilla games, Blizzard / Upperdeck, E-star studios, Phoenix age, and Tokkun Studio, Wizards of the coast, Whitewolf, Luitingh fantasy. Derk has studied 3d animation and multimedia in Amsterdam.

Born in 1982, Emmanuel Malin lives and works in Paris. He finds his bearings through architecture studies then urban planning before studying medical and scientific illustration, which will increase his sense of detail and assert his personal universe.

He starts his freelance career in 2006, working for different museums and multiplies his experiences in various fields, as a graphic designer but mainly as an illustrator.

Hence, his playground covers corporate communication, publishing and international press, comics and audiovisual pre-production, as well as video game industry and web entertainment.

Coming from the Paris region, Julien Allard is a 3D Environment Artist. As a teenager he was already attracted by digital art, dreaming of working one day for Pixar, Dreamwork or Blizzard.

It is in a private school located in Bastille that he discovered his passion for real time 3D. He entered the"video game" world in 2008, and made ​​his first steps freelancing as a graphic 3D generalist.

Today, Environment Artist specialized in "NextGen", his areas of expertise have evolved. His favorite software is Zbrush and Polycount has become his second home.

Born in 1980, Julien Noël lives and works in Reims, not far from Paris. After his visual arts and communication studies, he starts a career in multimedia and takes part in independent game projects.

Freelance artist since 2006, he has completed several missions in many fields of 3D creation : video games, Augmented Reality, video clips, short films, corporate...

Mastering the whole pipeline of 3D creation, modelization, texturing, animation and FX; he mainly contributes to human scale projects where he can make the most of his versatility.

Miguel Coimbra is a self-taught illustrator currently living in Lyon (France). He was a graphic designer in video games for Eden Games, on titles such as Titeuf, Test Drive Unlimited or Alone in the dark. Since 2005, he has been working freelance, mainly for the publishing and video games worlds ; with an emphasis towards board games and trading cards. He has worked on licenses such as World of warcraft, Starwars, Everquest, League of legends.

He has also illustrated very famous board games such as 7 wonders or Smallworld, not to mention numerous novel covers for the major French publishers (Pocket, Bragelonne, Albin Michel, Hachette, Flammarion, etc.)

For 20 years, The Black Frog has produced a considerable number of designs, illustrations, sculptures and storyboards on movies such as “Brotherhood of the wolf” (Le Pacte des Loups), “The Flintstones”, “Harry Potter,” “X-Men” and for some of the major video companies on today’s market. During his free time, Igor is also a prolific author of graphic novel sagas. He publishes “The notebooks of the Black Frog”(Les carnets de la Grenouille noire) 300 black and white pages, in a pocket format, of which he writes and illustrates each volume in a month, as well as other crazy stuff like “Stone Monkey”, the classical legend of the Monkey King, due to represent 3500 fully colored pages.

Last year, The Black Frog published the first issue of “La Dynamo”, a magazine exclusively dedicated to his work and which will be released twice a year. His clients: The Jim Henson’s Company, Warner Brothers, 20th Century Fox, Universal Pictures, Hallmark Entertainment, Rhythm & Hues, Atari, Sprite, Saatchi & Saatchi,Ubisoft, Whisper Pictures, Wizards Of The Coasts,Marvel.
